Advanced Form Field Fragments

Enhance your Liferay Form Containers with this collection of simple, yet powerful, context-aware fragments. These utilities allow you to implicitly capture and submit dynamic values—such as object relationships, URL parameters, or context-specific IDs—without requiring user interaction.

The initial set of fragments is designed to streamline data submission:

• Current Object Entry: Automatically populates a hidden field with the current Object Entry ID from the request context, simplifying the creation of implicit relationships (e.g., binding a Registration to the currently viewed Event).

• Query Parameter Value: Reads a specified query parameter from the URL and writes its value to a hidden input field.

• Referer Value: Captures a value from the HTTP Referer header for submission.

• Current Account (Commerce Context): Retrieves the current account ID from the commerce context, ideal for sites bound to a commerce channel.
